I am currently a senior machine learning engineer at Uber. Previously I worked at Meta on various ML problems. Before that, I received my PhD degree in Bioengineering from UC Berkeley/UC San Francisco.

Worked on various domain of applied machine learning/deep learning, including business integrity, platform growth, people ranking, etc.
Researched ranking methods for Facebook Marketplace motor products using sparse neural networks and multi-task multi-label deep neural networks. Also developed a module supporting task-dedicated dense feature input in neural networks.
Implemented generic MRI image data preparation pipeline for deep learning model training using Tensorflow. Developed and tested automatic motion artifact detection algorithm for cardiac MR scans using convolutional neural networks such as ResNet, DenseNet with Tensorflow and Keras.
Dissertation: Developement of Deep Learning Methods for Magnetic Resonance Phase Imaging of Neurological Diseases.
